A Statement from Alex and Tom:
So, here it is.
It’s been a few years since we released “Extravagaria”, and we’ve been through a lot. After spending a full year touring the country, playing some great shows and some bad ones, meeting hundreds (thousands?) of people, and almost losing our minds, we were ready to go home. Once we got there, we were restless. We spend our time holed up in basements and bedrooms, drinking lots of coffee, and writing what we believe are the best songs we have ever written. We also believe it is our “realest” album to date. Every song on “Beautiful Blood” is steeped in reality, based on our real lives and experiences. Whether through metaphor or not, it all means something.
We hope that you feel a bit of that when you listen to it. We love these songs, and we truly hope you will too.
This album would not have happened without:
Our friends and families, Stefanee Freedman, Stephan Hawkes, Justin Keller, Cory Van Name, Dana Rapley, Lou Giordano, Charlie Keating, Kris Crummett, Doug Howerton and Robbie Dressler.
Thank You.
Alex Heller and Tom Dawson.
P.S.
The track order on iTunes is slightly wrong and we are working on getting them to fix it, but in the mean time, the song “End Times, Good Times” is supposed to be Track number 5, between “I Don’t Mind” and “Slowlife”.
